I'll buy that for a dollar (times 20)

As I write this I'm feeling just a little bit smug (I'll try not to break my arm patting myself on the back). I saved quite a few bucks on an office chair, today. The chair I have been using in front of my computer was a kitchen table chair that has seen better days. My butt was a not happy camper after a sustained session at the computer. Took a trip to the Government Surplus sale and walked away with a $20 chair. Time will tell if this is my ultimate chair. One way or another it's way better than the old solution.

Also visited the hugh new Ikea that just went up. This thing is a monster!!! It's very curious, on the inside it doesn't seem especially bigger than other Ikea stores I've been in. I went because a friend is scouting furniture. Damn him for letting me tag along! Saw a couple of things I'm tempted to buy. Ikea used to be THE place to go for cheap but decent furniture. It's more expensive now but there's still some fairly priced stuff hard to find anywhere else. I see a couple chairs in my future. Well actually, I see them in my apartment.
