Coffee Good - Coffee Bad - Coffee Good - Meh

I've become somewhat disinterested over sciences opinion of my coffee drinking habit. There have been studies that coffee is good for you. There have been studies that coffee is bad for you. I read in a history of coffee that when coffee was first introduced to Europe the society of day said it was evil and people should stick to beer. I don't know if that's true, but it's fun to believe it is.

Most recently the last couple of studies to hit the media have said it's good. Here's the most recent: Study Suggests Caffeine Can Help Liver.

At this point there isn't much that's going to make me change my drinking habits. Everything in moderation, including moderation.

I do hope they discover how our human eco system really works, though. Fasinating beast, and I have quite the vested interest in the answer.

Panty Protocol

There's a pair of panties lying in the hall of my apartment building. I assume they feel out of a laundry basket, would hate to think I missed something more interesting happening more or less outside the door.

If this were a set of keys or a wallet I'd know what to do. In the case? Do I pick them up and put a sign in lobby: Found, pair of panties, call to claim? Start knocking on doors: are these yours or your wife's/girlfriend's/daughter's? Might be interesting ... or it might get me hurt.

I just left them there, I'm sure the owner will be along.

Aeon Flux

Saw Aeon Flux tonight. Everyone was predicting it was a dog because they didn't hold any screenings for critics, but it wasn't bad. It wasn't great, but I enjoyed it. I never watched the MTV cartoon, so didn't come into it with baggage.

The story is straight forward and mostly plot driven. There is some character advancement. Though the story doesn't have a lot of depth it's there and the stunt work and effects are a lot of fun.
